Leviticus
The more I read Leviticus the more grateful I am for Jesus. He is my Savior. He is my intercessor. He makes me clean. Bless those sweet priests. They had such an important job and they couldn't mess up. Bless Moses. He had to clearly articulate all the rules and customs to the Israelites. Leviticus overwhelms me and reminds me of the amazing gift of grace offered by Jesus.

I am so with you, girl!! I was reading through this all last night (very behind and trying to catch up) and I just was thinking how hard it must have been for these Jews to believe in Jesus. I mean, I think after reading all of these rules and how many different sacrifices and things you had to do to make retribution for your sin, it must have been quite a shock to hear..just believe in Jesus. He died and now your sins are all forgiven! What a wonderful truth, but I guess I have gotten a glimpse into how hard it actually could have been for people who knew such the opposite.
